As Northlane prepare for their first major overseas tour, the Sydney 5 piece will play one last farewell show in their local area to thank their fans for what has been an incredible year.
Following from the success of their 2011 debut album “Discoveries“, Northlane have become a touring force all over Australia – headlining in regional and metropolitan centers, and completing support tours with Parkway Drive, August Burns Red and House Vs Hurricane.
Last month, it was announced that they had signed with Canadian label Distort Records, home to Alexisonfire, The Bronx, Architects and Cancer Bats amongst others. Shortly after it was announced that Northlane would do their first Canadian tour with Obey The Brave and Stray For The Path throughout September.
Northlane’s farewell show will take place as Masonic Hall in Blacktown, one of the venues the band would play as they were just starting out. The night will also feature performances from some of Northlane’s close friends: The Bride, The Storm Picturesque, Aftermath and Elegist. It will take place on Sunday September 1st with a 5pm start. The show is All Ages and tickets will be on sale this Friday 17th August at 9am.
